Mercy Health Associates isn’t confined to standard business hours (Monday - Sunday). Mercy Health Associates has 12/hour, 7 days a week mental health services, treatment and programs. Choose from a variety of culturally component therapists with different backgrounds and specialties, available when you are. Mercy Health uses a variety of mental health assessments including structured interviews, standardized self-report questionnaires, and observational tools to diagnose conditions and create treatment plans.

MHA provides the following screeings and assessments:

Biopsychosocials: In-depth, structured, or sbi-structured conversations that allow therapists to gather personal history, understand current symptoms, and observe behavior.

Self-Report Questionnaires & Screeners: Standardized tools that clients complete to rate symptoms.

  • PHQ-9 Assessess depression severity
  • GAD-7 Screens for anxiety
  • PCL-5 Evaluates sympts of PTSD
  • SASSI Identifies substance use disorders.

Mental Status Exam: A standardized observation of a patient’s current mental state, including appearance, affect, mood, and thought processes.

Psychological and Personality Testing: Standardized tests that measure deeper personality traits or psychopathology.

Diagnostic Assessments: Specific tools aligned with DSM-5 criteria, such as cross-cutting symptom measures.

Risk Assessments: Evaluations specifically to assess suicide risk or safety risks.
